TREBETHIS / Sleeps 7 to 8 plus cot / central heating and electricity inclusive / 1 dog welcome  We’ve pulled out every stop in restoring and furnishing this impressive old farm house. Trebethis was completed in 2007 and is built of stone and cob, with a traditional Cornish slate roof and windows with granite lintels. We have kept as many of the original features as possible. There are impressive beamed ceilings, a stunning granite fireplace and traditional slate floors in the hallway and kitchen/dining room. Not only is Trebethis spacious, it is warm – it has under-floor central heating.
The sitting room is dominated by a characterful granite fireplace skilfully created from a trio of old Cornish gateposts. There is a wood burner to keep you cosy if the evenings turn chilly, and we are happy to supply your first basket of logs free with further logs available. There are two comfortable sofas and a chair, and a TV with DVD player. You’re bound to be impressed by the open-plan country-style kitchen and dining room! It has lofty beamed ceilings, and the broad windows fill the space with light. A massive ash beam from an old farm building demarcates the kitchen from the dining area, and the kitchen windows are supported by ash lintels. There is a stylish electric cooker and hob, a recessed Belfast sink, a dishwasher, a fridge freezer, and a microwave.
Bedroom 1 is bright and airy with a beamed ceiling and roof lights. It has a king-size double bed. Its en-suite bathroom has a large shower, basin and toilet. Roomy and light Bedroom 2 has 1 double bed and 1 single bed. Bedroom 3 (downstairs) has a country-style enamelled iron double bed. We are happy to supply an extra put-you-up single bed. The luxurious upstairs bathroom has a bath with overhead shower, basin and toilet. Downstairs is a WC with hand basin. Outside the front door is a small enclosed garden with table and chairs and umbrella where you can relax and enjoy the sunlight. There is parking for 2 cars. You are very welcome to bring a dog. This charming single-storey cob cottage with a traditional Cornish slate roof was sympathetically converted from the Trevillian wagon house in 2003. It overlooks the old farmyard and has been equipped to a high standard.
