Welcome to Trevillian!

Trevillian Holiday Cottages Our farm is just five miles from the popular beach resort of Crackington Haven. The pretty harbour of Boscastle and romantic Tintagel with its magnificent coast and cliffs are just a little further on. And Bude with its beaches and shops is just nine miles away.

To reach us you turn off the romantically-named Atlantic Highway that links the towns of north Devon with the Cornish peninsula. Straightaway it’s as if you’ve entered another country, secret and secluded. The lane, its verges decked with brightly coloured flowers in spring and summer, winds between fields and farms until you reach Trevillian, which sits among trees where the lane begins to climb gently uphill towards the broad sky.

Devon Holiday Cottage Trevillian is a working family farm, with sheep and Hereford-Friesian cows. In spring there are new-born lambs, and hens are often clucking in the old farmyard. The farm walk is a must, and the path, bright with foxgloves and honeysuckle, takes you down to a brook. If you enjoy coarse fishing you’re welcome to bring your rod and try your luck in the farm lakes, where there are carp, tench, roach and rudd. And if you get a licence you can fish the River Ottery, which flows close by.

Behind the cottages there is a safe play area for the children, equipped with a slide, swings and climbing-frame.

Our guests come back to us time and again, and we like to think it’s because we do everything we can to make them feel comfortable and at home. After all, a holiday is a special time, and we want people to go away with warm memories of us and of our hospitality.

Barry and Liz Sobey

I must write to let you know how impressed I was ... we had a thoroughly good time and we look forward to staying with you again next year.
